The current study aims to examine poverty theories in light of new perspectives and approaches. methodology used for this research, that is solely qualitative, based on the literature. explores a variety poverty, including classical, neoclassical, Keynesian, Marxist/radical, monetary, cultural, ecological, economic, political theory social exclusion capital. Some policy measures are suggested overcome such as economic growth must benefit all citizens through progressive tax systems, education, health, work opportunities, improving infrastructure local industries competitiveness, increased transparency, stricter enforcement, strengthening institutions prevent corruption, encourage participation voter parties, debate, trade, investment, renewable energy sources, self-help strategies reduce poverty.
